To create a mobile application that will help people connect and exchange services like home renovation, gardening, painting, hairdressing and more. The app’s social part was essential – handymen and their clients needed a chance to find each other and contribute to the local community with their skills.
Results
A well-performing, elaborate system that doesn’t need a lot of space and memory to work efficiently. What’s most important is that it allows people to integrate and help each other, which brings value to the community and has a positive impact on neighbor relations.
Technical Objective
We needed three elements to create a complete platform – an app for clients, an app for handymen and an administration panel. The client asked us to develop an app only for Android.
Technical Solution
First and foremost, we built the whole business logic of the product.
Then, we developed a backend platform with an API connection and database.
Three elements – Android apps for both clients and contractors,
as well as the admin panel, were made with a design and quality assurance process
to meet the business objectives.
Technical Strategy
The software needed to perform perfectly even on older smartphones and with low internet bandwidth. Our main goal was to build an app that wouldn’t need too many hardware resources but would still look good aesthetically and work fast.
